The <a href="http://www.florencechamber.com/RecAtt_PioneerM.html" target="_blank">Siuslaw Pioneer Museum</a> is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and display of historical artifacts and photographs specific to the Florence area. Recently re-located to a larger facility, there is much to explore among the fascinating collections of local history and artifacts. Exhibits include many pioneer items such as kitchen and lumbering artifacts.
